POSITION OBJECTIVE

  • Ensuring the highest levels of customer service are provided by retail staff and ensuring they have the skills and support required for maximizing sales.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in the efficient and profitable operation of the store, in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.
  • Taking end-to-end store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Promoting the Loyalty Program of the company to maximize loyalty and repeat sales.
  • Providing feedback to the Store Manager and Area Manager regarding employees and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being fashionable and well-groomed, possessing up-to-date product knowledge to minimize stock loss.
  • Maintaining knowledge of new products, trends, and fashion directives to effectively respond to and anticipate customer needs.
  • Ensuring retail staff have the skills to provide the highest levels of customer service to maximize sales.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in implementing store operating procedures as per company standards.
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to the brand and company's policies and procedures at all times.
  • Regularly auditing store administration and resolving any issues.
  • Managing daily rosters, leave, and grievances of retail staff.
  • Maintaining visual merchandising standards at all times according to set VM standards.
  • Promoting the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
  • Providing feedback to the Store Manager and/or Area Manager regarding employees and products.
  • Ensuring constant awareness and vigilance of security within the store.
  • Staying updated on various brands of the group for suggestive selling to customers.
  • Taking end-to-end store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Being physically fit to stand for extended hours and perform heavy lifting.
