PRESALES CONSULTANT COMPUTE INFRASTRUCTURE

Job Purpose:

The Presales Consultant for Compute Infrastructure is responsible for technical solutioning related to servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and associated services. The role involves gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining solutions aligned with customer needs, and collaborating with the Product Manager to ensure the product vision and customer satisfaction goals are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Sales team to provide comprehensive presales support to achieve sales targets.
  2. Effectively demonstrate the value of the company's solutions to prospects.
  3. Align company's capabilities (products and services) with client business requirements through professional and ethical engagement.
  4. Participate in completing RFI/RFP responses, bid coordination, prospect qualification, discovery, requirements gathering, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and solution design proposals.
  5. Support sales opportunities within existing accounts to ensure customer success.
  6. Engage in Proof of Concept (POC) activities to assist in closing deals.
  7. Collaborate with the Product Manager to generate leads and opportunities.
  8. Current Products handled include: HPE, DELL EMC, Nutanix, VMWARE, Commvault, Cohesity, etc.
  9. Provide product training to internal sales teams.
  10. Participate in commercial discussions with principals as required.
  11. Maintain regular communication with OEM presales teams.
  12. Liaise with distributors regarding product availability and pricing.
  13. Assist sales in closing deals on technical grounds when necessary.
