Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-commerce Manager to lead and execute our e-commerce strategies in the market. The primary focus of this role is to drive net sales growth, enhance customer reach, and ensure profitable outcomes by overseeing all aspects of our online retail operations. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing strategies, and customer experience optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to achieve business targets, leveraging various sales lead generation techniques, promotions, and other initiatives.
- Establish sales targets for the web channel and develop SEO marketing plans aligned with company strategies.
- Define and optimize the full sales workflow process and platform framework to enhance sales generation and improve performance, from initial contact through to after-sales processes and policies.
- Review website security protocols, check-out page security, and payment procedures to ensure customer data protection.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to create E-commerce promotional calendars, brand marketing strategies, digital initiatives, and success metrics.
- Lead and maintain SEO and re-targeting efforts, including ongoing optimization to maximize brand conversion and web link building.
- Manage website usability and user experience to enhance site performance, merchandising, engagement, and sales conversion rates.
- Work closely with the IT department and external agencies to ensure optimal platform performance and usability, focusing on both appearance and functionality.
- Oversee all digital and social marketing activities, supervise web merchandising, and develop cross-selling actions to promote the brand portfolio effectively.
- Maintain e-commerce inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and timely updates based on promotions, price changes, or new product features.
- Handle incoming orders via the website backend and social media channels, responding to queries promptly and implementing upselling strategies where possible.
- Monitor sales orders and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Ensure accuracy and high quality of product information, including prices, descriptions, and images, through close coordination with the marketing department.
- Execute and evaluate website performance regarding online marketing campaigns and social media efforts, utilizing data analytics, insights, and KPI measures to track sales conversions effectively.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and technology partners to support ecommerce operations and drive innovation.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills Required:
- A bachelors degree in business management or international business with preferably IT background (E-Commerce / Computer Application Specializations).
- 5 to 7 years experience working in e-commerce platforms & CRM management. Experience with e-commerce partners like website developers & designers, site maintenance and online campaigns is a mandate.
- Technical expertise on various software systems, e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento etc) and proficiency in data-, database-, financial analysis, Web designing, SEO optimization are preferable for this role.
