Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Promote and ensure guest satisfaction by developing and maintaining a strong team environment, emphasizing team member satisfaction and prompt, courteous service.
  2. Promptly and courteously deliver all orders, maintaining a positive image through guest contact and cleanliness of guest areas.
  3. Ensure total guest satisfaction in food and beverage service through supervision of prompt and courteous delivery of all restaurant and room service orders.
  4. Assist during shifts by serving, seating, communicating with the kitchen, and engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  5. Help maintain a motivated and well-trained staff.
  6. Open and close shifts according to the Manager’s Checklist.
  7. Train staff and enforce all Anantara Service Standards.
  8. Properly execute revenue and check control procedures during shifts.
  9. Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for all associates and guests.
  10. Gather and implement tools for shift operations, such as schedules, floor plans, reservations, and checks.
  11. Resolve daily problems like call outs and last-minute bookings effectively.
  12. Remain on the floor throughout the meal period to ensure adequate coverage.
  13. Serve only quality products.
  14. Manage repair and maintenance programs via work orders and inspections.
  15. Implement station rotation fairly and handle associate relations, including scheduling and time adjustments.
  16. Assist associates in their job performance to ensure guest satisfaction and contribute to training programs.
  17. Encourage problem-solving among associates through training and empowerment.
  18. Establish effective communication to build trust and respect, maintaining fair disciplinary procedures as per company policies.
  19. Identify and suggest incentive programs, new ideas, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the same position.
  • Experience in luxury hotels is mandatory.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
