Job Description
- Pick up / Drop hotel guests at predetermined locations and times in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Operate and maintain transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy.
- Assist guests with luggage and large packages.
- Open car doors for guests when appropriate.
- Educate passengers about local information.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks on vehicles when necessary.
- Refuel vehicles as needed.
- Ensure scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and properly reported.
- Document customer usage and prepare trip reports.
- Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary.
- Assist guests in and out of the vehicle.
- Provide additional services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation duties.
- Be familiar with roads and landmarks in the UAE, especially Dubai.
- Know all local rules of the road.
- Coordinate and communicate with Concierge, Front Office, and other departments.
- Handle all guest requests effectively.
- Be familiar with company documentation and operational standards manuals relevant to your responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including reasonable tasks not explicitly stated.
- Review and update the Logbook regularly.
- Maintain a smart appearance, be well groomed, and keep a friendly, cheerful disposition at all times.
- Report regularly on happenings to FOM/Director of Operations.
- Maintain good relations with colleagues.
- Resolve guest complaints promptly.
- Ensure service quality standards are met.
- Monitor hotel occupancy, events, groups, and VIP arrivals.
- Attend scheduled training sessions.
- Show cooperation and respect within the team and across departments.
- Be aware of daily activities and have product knowledge of hotel facilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
- 1–3 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel environment.
