Job Title: Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager responsible for complete procurement and inventory management, developing strategies to reduce costs, and improve quality. The role involves ensuring that the quality of goods received meets requirements, and purchases are made at the best prices within the annual budget.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Develop sound, cost-effective strategies for purchasing materials used in the business.
  2. Maintain relationships with suppliers and continually scout for additional vendors.
  3. Evaluate spending operations to improve quality and delivery timeliness.
  4. Communicate regularly with management regarding the flow of goods and services affecting production.
  5. Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement.
  6. Develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses from product shortages.
  7. Supervise the purchasing team and delegate tasks across departments.
  8. Work closely with the legal department to ensure favorable contracts and terms.
  9. Plan inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain strategies.
  10. Implement ERP systems aligned with procurement and inventory management best practices.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of purchasing in the GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Flowers Bakery Gifting FMGC Ecommerce industries.
  • Ability to make independent decisions aligned with responsibilities.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen to support business needs through procurement.
  • Ability to translate strategies into tactical plans for better results.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed reports.
