Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to support daily warehouse operations. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Team Leader is responsible for managing a small group of warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are executed accurately, safely, and efficiently. This role is key to maintaining day-to-day productivity and supporting the smooth flow of operations on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide a team of warehouse operatives in daily tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, sorting, and dispatching.
• Ensure that all team activities are carried out according to company safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Allocate work duties and monitor task completion to meet shift targets.
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in monitoring performance and reporting operational updates.
• Identify and address basic operational issues or escalate them to the Supervisor when necessary.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and assist in basic troubleshooting where applicable.
• Train new team members on warehouse procedures and best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the designated work areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Prior experience in a team lead role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.
• Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners or basic warehouse management systems.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
