Job Description: Assistant Chief Engineer

We are seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee maintenance operations within our hotel, ensuring an excellent experience for both guests and team members. This role involves performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating renovation projects to maintain the hotel's standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance issues within the hotel
• Perform daily maintenance checks
• Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment
• Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers
• Maintain hotel fixtures and fittings in safe condition and address unsafe situations
• Develop, implement, and oversee emergency and energy conservation programs
• Coordinate renovation projects, including bidding, defining scope and costs, and supervising contractors
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
• Ensure health and safety standards are met through regular inspections and staff training

Qualifications
