Job description

Our client, a global leader in business services, is looking for a seasoned tax professional to lead the implementation of Pillar 2 requirements across the Group. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax, this is a high-impact role offering the chance to shape tax strategy in a dynamic, post-acquisition environment.

You'll work across jurisdictions, partner with senior stakeholders, and drive compliance, efficiency, and innovation in tax operations, starting with UAE Corporate Tax and OECD Pillar 2.

The Role

  1. Lead the implementation of UAE Corporate Tax and OECD Pillar 2 requirements.
  2. Manage the global tax control framework and day-to-day tax affairs, including compliance, strategic direction, technical guidance, and proactive collaboration with the global team.
  3. Design and implement transfer pricing optimization and enhance the Group's tax control framework.
  4. Prepare global transfer pricing documentation, including the master file, local files, and country-by-country reporting.
  5. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with tax filing and reporting obligations.
  6. Provide comprehensive tax-related advice and support to the global organization.

The Person

  1. Bachelor's degree in Tax Law, Economics, or Accounting; a Master's degree in Corporate Taxation is preferred.
  2. Professional tax qualification or membership (e.g., CTA, IFA, NOB, or equivalent).
  3. Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in international tax, with a proven track record of delivering business-oriented tax solutions within complex global organizations.
  4. Up-to-date technical knowledge of legislative changes, with strong expertise in tax matters and M&A transactions.
  5. Strategic mindset with the ability to define and implement a long-term tax strategy aligned with a dynamic global tax landscape.
  6. Demonstrated ability to foster a high-performing, inclusive, and innovative approach to tax matters.
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across global finance, tax, and commercial teams, and to influence senior management.
