Summary:

The Human Resources Officer will play a crucial role in managing employee relations and delivering comprehensive HR services to foster a positive and productive work environment. This position is specifically aimed to bring valuable insights and cultural understanding to the HR team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management, promoting a harmonious workplace.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.

HR Services:

  • Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting interviews and orientation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth and career advancement.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers on effective evaluation techniques.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans as necessary.

HR Administration:

  • Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Responsible for uploading, editing, and updating employees’ data in the system.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues.
  • Manage HR-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports as per business requirements.

Qualification:

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Technical Qualification / Certification

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and UAE labor laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exposure to SAP is strongly preferred.

Related Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and HR services.
