Job Description
- Design and analyze STEEL and RCC structural systems, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards while adhering to local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with Lead Engineers and senior engineers to develop FEED and feasible design solutions that enhance project functionality.
- Conduct detailed calculations using software tools such as STADD, SAP 2000, RAM Connections to predict structural behavior under various load conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports validating brownfield and Greenfield Pipe Rack Structures, communicating design intent, methodologies, and compliance with Client and International Codes and Standards such as ACI, AISC, DIN, BS, etc.
- Review and revise design plans based on feedback from clients and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment.
- Oversee construction processes, providing technical guidance to ensure correct installation of structural components.
- Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Design RCC Foundations, Platforms, Pipe foundations, Pile caps for industrial and commercial structures.
- Design PEB structures for industrial sheds.
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient and economical completion of designs.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution, focusing on structural analysis and design.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in structural design with a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Proficiency in design software such as STADD, AutoCAD, SAP2000, and ETABS.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, structural materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Team-oriented with leadership qualities and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections.
