Job description

Title: Director of Commercial/Sponsorships - Sports

Salary: 35-45K AED

Location: Dubai

Agency Side experience is a MUST

Responsibilities:

  • Search of potential sponsors (directly or through agencies): Presentation and sale of sponsorship opportunities, negotiation and communication with potential and confirmed sponsors and partners;
  • Organization and holding of events, seminars and presentations for potential and confirmed sponsors;
  • Control over the preparation and adjustment of selling presentations, analytical and reporting materials;
  • Control of reporting in subordinate areas, including in an automated database/CRM system;
  • Ensuring the preparation and signing of MOUs (memorandum of understanding) and sponsorship/partnership agreements;
  • Creation of creative sponsors/partners activation concepts, coordination and coordination of their implementation;
  • Ensuring the implementation of the rights of non-profit partners; Interaction with the host cities in order to successfully implement the sponsorship, ticketing and licensing program. Quality control of work and ensuring the agreements reached;
  • Monitoring the proper execution and observance of all the rights of partners and sponsors in the preparation and conduct of test events.
  • Integration of our client partners into various projects and sub-products, events, activities, etc.

Requirements:

  • Work experience in sports (as a plus) sponsorship/partnership/marketing/commerce in
  • seniormanagement positions for at least 5 years;
  • Proven experience of activating the rights of sponsors, as a plus, - at major international sports and/or innovative HiTech events/projects;
  • Successful proven experience in concluding large sponsorship contracts and attracting commercial funds from international/foreign companies;
  • Experience in structuring large sponsorship contracts (VIK, donations, contributions, activations);
  • Successful experience in building and controlling commercial business processes
