As a Restaurant Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant. You will be responsible to greet guests warmly, seat them accordingly, and ensure a smooth flow of service throughout their dining experience. You will collaborate closely with the restaurant team to uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, inquire about their reservation status, and guide them to their tables promptly and courteously.
Maintain an organized system for managing reservations and walk-ins, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and efficient use of dining room space.
Coordinate with serving staff to ensure timely seating and smooth transition of guests to their designated tables.
Present menus to guests and respond to the guest’s inquiries and requests with accurate information regarding menu items, restaurant policies, and facilities.
Monitor the cleanliness, ensuring it meets hygiene standards and presents a welcoming atmosphere.
Support servers and bartenders on a need basis by delivering food and beverages to tables, clearing tables, and assisting with guest needs.
Assist guests with payment processing and ensure accurate settlement of bills.
Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
