Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Manager - Corporate Accounting & Tax reporting to the Associate Director Accounting & Tax. The role holder will help lead financial operations, ensure robust financial governance, and support leadership with critical insights for strategic decision-making. The role requires a results-driven finance professional with a proven track record in financial reporting and tax within complex and fast-paced environments.

Key Accountabilities:
Financial accounting. statutory reporting and group consolidation
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Review and coordinate month-end closing and reporting.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls, accounting systems, and reporting processes across hotel and corporate entities.
- Work closely with Shared Service teams to review deliverables, including financial statements, management reporting, accounts receivables and payables.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
- Review financial deliverables of hotel operators to ensure Group accounting policies and procedures are being complied with.
- Review, interpret and prepare position papers on accounting treatments e.g. M&A accounting, impairment analysis, valuation review, due diligence etc.
- Prepare internal reporting packs.
- Finance business partnering to provide asset managers and hotel teams financial guidance.
- Review hotel management fee payments and profit share upstreams to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory audits.
VAT and corporate tax
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance (e.g., corporate tax, VAT and withholding tax).
- Coordinate the preparation and timely filing of tax returns with Shared Services.
- Assist with tax provision and deferred tax calculations during month and year-end closings.
- Support tax planning initiatives to ensure a tax efficient corporate structure is maintained.
- Lead the tax registration of new entities.
- Coordinate with tax authorities and consultants to address queries in a timely manner.
Internal controls and governance
- Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of internal financial controls.
- Work with internal audit and compliance teams to address control gaps and audit findings.
- Ensure financial processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Help formulate departmental finance strategies and objectives.
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years experience within a financial accounting or control role.
- Experience of accounting in hospitality, real estate or large organization consolidation and group-wide accounting.
- Big 4 accountancy experience preferred.
Education / Professional Certifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is essential for this role.
- Professional accounting certifications, such as ICAEW Chartered Accountant Qualification (ACA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of hospitality and USALI reporting.
- Able to lead and manage consultant and specialists.
- Strong understanding of IFRS including consolidation experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team.
- Controls-oriented mindset with zero tolerance on control deficiencies.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and project management skills
- Strong experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion (preferred).
- Strong MS Office experience with specific expertise in Excel.
