- Develop, implement, and maintain the QA/QC procedures and inspection test plans (ITPs) for all MEP activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and site surveillance to ensure MEP works comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Review and verify all MEP materials, installations, and testing procedures.
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for inspections and approval of MEP works.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection requests (IRs), method statements, NCRs, and work inspection reports (WIRs).
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, DCD, etc.).
- Monitor and report non-conformances and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits when necessary.
- Attend progress and quality meetings and provide necessary inputs and updates.
- Ensure safety and quality are maintained across all MEP site activities.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a QA/QC MEP Engineer role, within the UAE.
- Contracting company background is mandatory.
- Experience working on large-scale projects (towers, mixed-use developments, infrastructure, etc.) in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of MEP codes, standards, and authority regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC software tools; knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is a plus.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
- Currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
