Job Summary
The Pharmaceutical Sales Analyst plays a key role in driving data-informed commercial strategies by analyzing sales performance, identifying emerging trends, and delivering actionable insights. This position collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to support strategic planning, optimize market performance, and enhance decision-making across the organization. The role is responsible for analytics and insights across the Gulf, Levant, and Other Export Markets
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret pharmaceutical sales and market performance data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Insights & Trends: Translate large and complex datasets into actionable business insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Forecasting & Metrics: Develop accurate sales forecasts and performance indicators in coordination with business objectives.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive sales reports and interactive dashboards tailored for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present analytical findings in a clear and impactful manner to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Financial Alignment: Collaborate closely with the finance team to align sales forecasts with financial projections and targets.
- BI Development: Design, implement, and manage business intelligence (BI) solutions to support data accessibility and usability across functions.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct routine data validation and integrity checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
- Performance Enablement: Provide data-driven recommendations that support operational efficiency and enhance decision-making within business units.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of evolving analytical tools, techniques, and industry trends to drive innovation in business analytics and reporting.
Qualifications & Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical databases and commercial business knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in SAP /ERP systems, IQVIA systems, Access & PowerPoint, having Python or any programing language will be a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
