About the Role:

As Regional IT Director, your focus will be:

1. Provide regional IT leadership, manage day-to-day IT solutions and operations services, and maintain group IT processes and standards in the region. Contribute to their effectiveness, quality, and accountability in achieving strategic business goals.
2. Build and maintain productive, strategic relationships with all key stakeholders in the region.
3. Report regional service performance against agreed performance indicators and identify actions when necessary.
4. Communicate the global IT roadmap to regional business stakeholders and solicit feedback.
5. Plan, direct, and review activities of school/office IT Managers, supporting them with problem-solving and educational needs.
6. Contribute to defining, planning, and implementing the group IT strategy and roadmap, including standards for hardware and software, policies, and processes.
7. Review budget planning and purchases of hardware and software to ensure interoperability of all enterprise systems within regional schools and offices.
8. Ensure school/office IT teams focus on customer service and deliver outstanding service levels.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Regional IT Director or similar role.
• Management experience in operational support or production environments as an IT Manager or IT Service Delivery Manager.
• People management skills, including developing and leading teams.
• Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management.
• ITIL and Prince2 certifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of technology used throughout the education sector, including Virtual Learning Solutions.
• Experience working in complex matrix organizational structures.
