Job Description
The RF Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing radio frequency (RF) systems used in armored vehicle and defense solutions. The role requires in-depth knowledge of RF systems, antenna design, signal processing, and testing methodologies, with a focus on meeting the unique needs of defense and armored vehicle applications.
- Design, develop, and test RF systems for communication equipment used in armored vehicles.
- Perform RF measurements and analyses using specialized RF testing tools, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into vehicle systems and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot RF systems, identify performance issues, and implement solutions to optimize signal strength and quality.
- Ensure compliance with military standards and specifications for communication equipment.
- Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the RF components meet design and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development of antenna systems for secure, reliable communication in challenging environments.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and results to maintain technical records.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in RF technology, defense communication systems, and armored vehicle solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in RF engineering, with a focus on military, defense, or armored vehicle applications.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with secure communication systems in defense or armored vehicle environments.
- Familiarity with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and shielding techniques.
- Experience in compliance testing for defense and military systems.
