Job Purpose
Lead and monitor the development, maintenance, oversight, and inter-unit integration of various engineering programs supporting the operation of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP), including component and asset programs.
Key Activities, Responsibilities & Accountability
- Engineering Program Development
Responsibilities include reviewing and validating long-term plans, policies, processes, and procedures related to equipment performance management at BNPP; leading the development of engineering programs and ensuring they meet regulatory and operational requirements; and allocating resources to support these programs. - Engineering Program Maintenance
Lead the assessment and integration of internal and external operating experiences (OPEX) to improve programs and support safety; develop and maintain databases and tools related to engineering programs. - Plant Engineering Programs Oversight
Oversee the execution of engineering programs to ensure compliance with requirements; verify baseline data accuracy; supervise external suppliers involved in program execution. - Inter-Units Integration
Lead the integration of engineering program results across all BNPP units for comprehensive analysis. - Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support
Support outage and ERO activities to ensure safe and reliable operations, including shift work or off-hours support. - Staff Training and Qualification
Participate in training to develop necessary skills; provide feedback to improve training programs. - Operational Planning
Contribute to the development of departmental systems and processes; develop and implement procedures; monitor operational and financial KPIs; ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Engineer License.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Science.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a nuclear power plant engineering environment.
- Alternatively, 8 years of relevant experience with pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear engineering experience.
