Job Description

Role: Business Support Officer

Location: Sharjah

Role Purpose:

Act as the focal point between the Regional Office (RO), internal and external stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Support the team in handling customer transactions and queries.
  • Ensure timely and efficient customer service in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with business partners to ensure timely completion of transactions.
  • Monitor accounts opened by the RO, ensuring zero discrepancies, and work on resolving discrepancies by completing missing documentation.

Key Accountabilities of the role

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve them within the agreed turnaround time (TAT).
  • Monitor the quality of accounts opened, ensuring zero discrepancies, and follow up to reduce discrepancies.
  • Serve as the focal point between ROs and outsourced sales agencies.
  • Coordinate between ROs and internal departments (HR, Operations, GCD).
  • Assist and support Relationship Officers (ROs) to facilitate better customer service without compromising policies and procedures.
  • Support ROs in obtaining legal approval, creating, and activating RIMs.
  • Assist ROs in providing excellent customer service for any service requests and maintain turnaround times.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Understanding of ADIB policies and procedures.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Previous Experience:

3-5 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in documentation and operations.
