Job Title: Accountant - Emirati Talent

Location: Dubai

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their Finance & Accounting team located in Dubai. We are looking exclusively for Emirati candidates with a family book, as we are currently supporting our client's Emiratisation Program.

In this full-time, on-site role, the candidate will play a vital role in supporting various financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management. You will collaborate with team members and report to senior management, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
  • Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the same field
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
