Job Description

- Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in budget development and monitoring for residential properties.
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting.
- Manage banking relationships and reconcile bank statements.
Reporting and Analysis- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Develop financial models and dashboards for management decision-making.
- Conduct financial audits and present findings to senior management.
Compliance and Process Improvement- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and controls.
- Implement internal control systems to ensure data integrity.
- Stay updated on financial regulation changes and ensure compliance.
Stakeholder Communication- Collaborate with property managers, homeowner associations, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports to board members and executives.
- Support department heads and project managers with financial guidance.
Management Rental Scheme- Oversee rental pool operations, including P&L, VAT invoicing, profit distribution, and budgeting.
- Respond to owner queries and manage related financial processes.
- Develop strategies to optimize rental income and occupancy.
Team Leadership and Development- Manage and mentor the accounting team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
- Promote continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Strategic Financial Planning- Contribute to long-term financial strategies and goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Align financial objectives with overall business strategy in collaboration with senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Experience in property management accounting or real estate finance preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, or MRI.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
