About the job: Marketing Operations Manager - FPL

We're hiring an Operations Manager to help us scale a fast-growing financial services media company based in Dubai.

The Company: The Financial Planner Life is a podcast-first, video-first media company focused on the UK financial planning profession. We partner with financial planners and product providers to create branded media that attracts clients, builds trust, and grows teams. Our work includes podcasts, YouTube content, docu-stories, and paid partnerships, helping brands communicate effectively.

Our flagship show, The Financial Planner Life Podcast, has built a highly engaged niche audience, secured major partnerships, and opened new opportunities. As we scale, we need a highly organized Operations Manager in Dubai to help build the systems and structure for our next chapter.

The Role:

You will work directly with our founder, Sam Oakes, managing the operational side of our growing media company. Your responsibilities include automation, funnel marketing, production timelines, and client onboarding, essentially building the engine behind our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build operational systems from scratch, including CRM (HubSpot or GoHighLevel), project management (Monday.com), marketing automation, and lead capture.
  2. Design and implement automated workflows using Zapier and integrated tools to streamline onboarding, outreach, and internal communication.
  3. Manage media production workflows across podcasts, YouTube series, docu-stories, and branded partnerships.
  4. Set up and deliver webinars and online courses, including landing pages, email sequences, and backend build-outs (such as Kajabi).
  5. Drive lead generation strategies, create marketing funnels, and grow a responsive email database.
  6. Oversee client operations, from quoting and invoicing to scheduling and after-sales care.
  7. Coordinate a team of videographers, editors, designers, copywriters, and freelancers.
  8. Maintain our marketing rhythm through email campaigns, newsletters, and social scheduling.
  9. Free up Sam's time to focus on client strategy, product development, and brand partnerships.

About You:

  1. You are based in Dubai or open to relocating from the UK.
  2. You have proven experience in operational marketing or media operations; this is not a trainee role.
  3. You are confident building and improving systems from scratch.
  4. You have worked in or with a creative or media agency and understand media production workflows.
  5. You have delivered lead generation campaigns and built effective, data-driven marketing funnels.
  6. You are experienced with tools like HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Zapier, Monday.com, and Kajabi.
  7. You have launched webinars and online courses, managing all aspects.
  8. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  9. You are highly organized, self-directed, and thrive in fast-paced, creative environments.
