This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Subcontract Engineer with a proven track record in ensuring the timely flow of materials, goods, or information within a supply chain by coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve delays and optimize workflows for a high-profile client.

Key Objectives for This Role
  • Deliver and prioritize contract review workload aligned with business needs
  • Support the application of Group Commercial Policies
  • Implement common ways of working to maximize value and minimize risk
  • Manage internal interfaces within the supported business
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Promote safety leadership behaviors
  • Act ethically and with integrity
  • Apply Financial Management Framework guidelines
  • Follow DOA and contracting policies
  • Support activities such as drafting, review, and negotiation of:
    • Confidentiality agreements / NDAs
    • Client contracts and project-specific agreements
    • Financial instruments like Bonds and Letters of Credit
    • MOUs and exclusive arrangements
  • Review contract qualifications with other functions to ensure appropriate risk management
  • Negotiate contractual terms with clients
  • Provide contract overview and issues to management and teams
  • Contribute to Tender Governance Process
  • Identify contractual risks for risk management
  • Draft prime contract flow-down terms for purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Provide contractual interpretation advice
  • Assist with timely provision of contractual deliverables
  • Contribute to Commercial Handovers with mitigations and actions
  • Support preparation and negotiation of JV and Partnering agreements
  • Align contractual terms with remuneration models
  • Support claims pursuit and defense
  • Participate in industry-wide contracts initiatives
  • Manage subcontract formation and flow-downs
