Role Overview

Seeking an L1 NOC Application Engineer to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate should have basic database knowledge, production environment application experience, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Monitoring applications and responding to alerts
  2. Troubleshooting issues and ensuring application stability
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Incident Detection: Monitor using Dynatrace, respond to alerts, escalate issues as needed.
  • Initial Troubleshooting: Address application and system issues, document incidents and resolutions.
  • Incident Management: Prioritize incidents, communicate with stakeholders, ensure timely resolution.
  • Application and System Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks, health checks on applications and servers.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, generate performance reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with other IT teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
  • Shift Work and On-Call Support: Participate in 24/7 shifts and on-call rotations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years in large industry monitoring using Dynatrace
  • Experience with databases and applications monitoring
  • Technical Skills: Application concepts, troubleshooting, RCA reporting
  • Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace and ServiceNow experience
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Certifications: Dynatrace Associate Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a 24/7 operations environment, particularly in a NOC role
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes
  • Good understanding of digital and cybersecurity service management
  • Exposure to configuration management tools
