We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Marketing, with proven expertise in Corporate Communications for Dubai Government.

This role requires a seasoned professional capable of shaping and executing impactful marketing and communication strategies that align with the organization's mission, drive engagement, and strengthen brand presence across multiple platforms and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Set annual objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee departmental budgeting and ensure operational alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Monitor performance and initiate improvements to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Policy & Process Development
    • Lead the development and enhancement of internal policies, processes, and frameworks.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, governance, and industry best practices.
  • Event Management & Community Engagement
    • Direct planning and execution of corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, and outreach initiatives.
    • Drive innovative campaigns to build community awareness and foster stakeholder engagement.
  • Marketing & Media Strategy
    • Oversee development and delivery of integrated marketing, media, and advertising campaigns.
    • Manage media relationships and ensure unified, consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Communication & Publications
    • Supervise the creation of publications, reports, promotional materials, and digital content.
    • Lead communication initiatives across both traditional and digital channels to support organizational priorities.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Track departmental performance using data-driven insights and analytics.
    • Identify performance gaps and lead corrective actions to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management
    • Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
    • Monitor expenditures and enforce financial compliance.
  • People Management
    • Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and professional development efforts within the team.
    • Foster a high-performance culture through mentorship, training, and effective leadership.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • 10-15 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
