Job Description

Act as the primary functional support for Oracle EBS modules, including:

  1. Service Requests (CSR)
  2. Install Base (IB)
  3. Service Contracts
  4. Work In Process (WIP)
  5. Inventory (INV)
  6. Purchasing (PO)

Respond to and resolve user queries and issues across all functional areas of the customer service (workshop) and spare parts business. Perform issue investigation, root cause analysis, and propose resolutions or workarounds. Coordinate with technical and DBA teams for bug fixes, testing, and patch applications. Assist in configuring setups, lookups, workflows, and profile options within the supported modules. Prepare training documents and conduct user training when required. Participate in periodic user reviews, audits, or external assessments to support compliance and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • 4+ years of functional experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and Service modules, especially Depot Repair and Install Base
  • Understanding of automotive workshop operations and customer service processes
  • Familiarity with service billing, service contract lifecycle, and part movement
  • Ability to document issues, track resolutions, and communicate effectively with business and technical teams
  • Experience in preparing test cases and executing UAT
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to Oracle support tools like SR management and patches is advantageous
Preferred
  • Experience in the automotive distribution industry
  • Knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with BI Publisher / Discoverer Reports
Oracle CRM Technical

The consultant will work closely with the functional team and internal IT to deliver technical support, enhancements, and integrations for Oracle EBS modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and development for Oracle EBS R12 modules:
  • Service Requests (CSR), Install Base (IB), Service Contracts, Work In Process (WIP), Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), Order Management (OM)
  • Develop and maintain:
  • Custom PL/SQL programs, APIs, and interfaces
  • Reports using Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and Discoverer
  • Forms personalization and custom Oracle Forms
  • Workflow customizations (WF Builder)
  • Data loading scripts and concurrent programs

Support troubleshooting, data migration, system patches, cloning, and upgrade efforts in coordination with the DBA team. Work closely with functional consultants to gather requirements, convert them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions. Document all developments and support resolutions, including versioning and deployment instructions. Assist in testing, UAT, and deployment of technical changes.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite technical development (R12)
  • Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL, XML/BI Publisher, Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure / Oracle Integration Cloud for Integrations, OAF (optional)
  • Expertise in building and managing interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows, and reports (RICEW)
  • Good understanding of table structures and APIs across supported modules, especially Install Base & Depot Repair
  • Familiarity with automotive workshop/service domain is preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize SQL queries
  • Good documentation and communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Oracle Application Object Library (AOL) setups
  • Experience with support tools like Oracle SR, patches, and diagnostics
  • Exposure to external system integrations (web services, FTP, OIC calls) is a plus
