The Key Objectives for This Role Are

  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test results and certificates
  • Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and communication

Responsibilities

Executing Assigned Scopes of Work:

  • Preparing and reporting project cost budgets, tracking and managing project expenditure to enable robust control throughout the project lifecycle. Supporting senior cost team members by preparing and reporting budgets and forecasts aligned with contractual requirements, policies, and standards. Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting actual and forecasted project costs against the approved budget.

Providing Discipline Expertise

  • Supporting development and maintenance of Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)
  • Collaborating with procurement, finance, and other functions to ensure accurate and timely cost data capture and allocation
  • Liaising with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to stay informed of project activities and their impact on costs
  • Managing project work approval processes regarding cost code allocation and initial budgets
  • Developing and maintaining project cost budgets using appropriate software
  • Monitoring and controlling costs through all project phases
  • Coordinating with planning to ensure accuracy in cost phasing and forecasting
  • Preparing project cost performance reports and updates
  • Monitoring manpower cost impacts and developing change orders as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent through vocational training or industry experience)

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant scheduling/planning experience
  • Basic knowledge of cost software, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow principles
