Job Description

The role involves supporting the development, implementation, and management of various initiatives related to the Raptors and Dugong MoUs, including activities such as:

  1. Gathering and assessing range state information, liaising with technical advisors, and supporting projects and workshops.
  2. Resource mobilization, including research, proposal drafting, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and monitoring project implementation.
  3. Planning, budgeting, and servicing meetings and events, including logistics, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  4. Contributing to communication and outreach activities, producing awareness materials, and supporting capacity-building efforts.
  5. Leading the Office's internship program and supervising interns and volunteers.
  6. Collaborating with the CMS Secretariat and other colleagues, and contributing to data collection, analysis, and visualization.
  7. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Key competencies include professionalism, planning and organizing, communication, and data analysis skills. The position requires an advanced university degree in environmental studies or related fields, with a minimum of two years' experience in relevant areas, and fluency in English, with French being desirable.
