Aldar Education is currently seeking an outstanding Administrative Assistant for Yasmina American School in Abu Dhabi, starting in June/July 2025.

Yasmina American School, located in Khalifa City A, offers a comprehensive American curriculum from Pre-KG to Grade 5. The school is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable education in a supportive environment that fosters each child's potential.

Responsibilities
Main Duties:
  • Attend all administration team meetings
  • Type and brand official documents and letters for parents
  • Manage emails on behalf of the Leadership Team as appropriate
  • Liaise with staff and respond to inquiries within your responsibility
  • Coordinate with Aldar HQ for related issues/tasks
Specific Duties:
  • Design documents to improve school effectiveness
  • Attend relevant training for the Admin Support role
  • Support school staff with various requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date student records on Engage
  • Send personalized letters to parents via mail merge and attach to DMS system
  • Handle communications with parents regarding homework, visits, and events
  • Ensure fire registers are current and accurate
  • Process student leaver forms, update Engage, and forward to Admissions
  • Arrange teacher cover during absences
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or high school certificate
  • Proficient in PC operation and office equipment, with knowledge of common software and spreadsheets
  • Good communication skills
Minimum Experience:
  • At least two years in a school environment
Job-specific Knowledge & Skills:
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Arabic language skills are preferable
  • Strong interpersonal skills for diverse, multicultural interactions
  • Excellent office management skills
