Job Responsibilities
- Proactively resolve software and hardware problems through on-site support or remote assistance by liaising with the central IT support helpdesk within a limited timeframe to ensure client satisfaction.
- Liaise with network engineers to provide suitable network access and implement changes in the existing network according to business requirements and set procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve issues as per agreed SLAs.
- Assist the team with the implementation of IT business applications across DHRE and provide relevant information to ensure flawless execution during the implementation phase.
- Collect and gather business information for IT requirements and prepare primary reports for the team.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge databases to facilitate the collection and storage of common issues faced by users, along with their responses, to identify critical issues and recommend solutions.
- Maintain an accurate monthly inventory of all company IT equipment and prepare inventory status reports.
- Handle preventive maintenance of all IT equipment of DHRE to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth business operations.
- Provide oversight and guidance to the team to resolve ongoing IT operational issues.
- Oversee and reconcile email account licenses.
- Gather, analyze, and process business requirements for IT infrastructure to set up new site offices, manage existing setup changes, and cancel services. This includes site surveys, Bill of Quantity (BoQ) of IT items, Service Request forms with business approval, internet packages, internal cabling, laptops, printers, telephones, emails, mobile SIM cards, etc.
- Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Experience
Vacancy: 1-3 to 4 years of experience.
Other Requirements
For example: UAE Driving License. A driver’s license with a car is required as support for site offices is necessary.
