Job description

Job Purpose: To provide support and advice to the management team on financial performance matters and assist in creating and implementing forecasting, budgeting tools, and strategies that provide key stakeholders with relevant, accurate, and timely management information to support executive-level decision-making.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reports and analysis: Analyze performance against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making aligned with the budget and strategic plan.
  2. Business analysis and KPI management: Adopt a business partnering approach and provide essential financial advice and support to key stakeholders.
  3. Support business growth objectives: Through planning, coordination, and production of budgets and forecasts in a timely manner.
  4. Maintain and develop financial models: Aid planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytical review.
  5. Process improvement initiatives: Identify non-value-adding activities and implement solutions to create operational efficiencies.
  6. Month-end reporting: Prepare and execute month-end reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including MIS reporting.
  7. Audit support: Support interim and year-end audits by liaising with external auditors and preparing relevant information.
  8. Reporting for OEM and compliance: Prepare periodic reports as required.
  9. Documentation: Ensure processes and procedures are fully documented and maintained.
  10. Board presentations: Assist in preparing presentations for management.
  11. Ad hoc reports and analysis: Prepare as required by management.
  12. System automation and implementation: Participate in projects such as ERP and BI tools.
  13. Manage adhoc reports: For OEMs and internal stakeholders.
  14. Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
