Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Engineering professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As an Engineering Storekeeper, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and equipment, compiling records of supply transactions, and verifying that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Accurately recording deliveries and departmental issues in the stock ledgers and balancing daily to the required standard.
  2. Matching goods received with delivery notes from suppliers.
  3. Unloading and receiving goods from suppliers.
  4. Ensuring all goods are immediately dispatched to the store for which they are intended, and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised on the loading bay.
  5. Distributing goods to the Engineering Department employees against store requests.
  6. Weekly requisitioning of materials required to maintain stock levels.
  7. Entering all materials in and out of stores into the computer on a weekly basis.
  8. Completing stock takes at a time designated by hotel management.
  9. Ensuring proper security is maintained at all times.
  10. Keeping stores clean and tidy at all times.
Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally possess a high school or college qualification with previous experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry. Proven knowledge of electrical equipment and a good command of English are essential, and computer skills will be an advantage.
