Job description

Position: Waiter/Waitress (Full-time #529864)
Building/Workplace: Emirates Royal Residence, Abu Dhabi
Area: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Duties:

1. Set-up stations and tables according to established criteria.
2. Greet the guest according to the standards established by Emirates Royal Residence.
3. Interact with the guest according to the criteria set by Emirates Palace.
4. Help captain in offering the menu, making referrals, and taking orders.
5. Serve food and drink products ensuring timely service.
6. Act on payment and checking procedures.
7. Guarantee that the buffet is kept tidy and devoid of debris.
8. Coordinate and assist the clearing of tables.
9. Coordinate and aid the cleaning of the terminal.
10. Coordinate and supervise the return of unclean bed linen.
11. Aid the kitchen clearing the buffet.
12. Be present in the restaurant during service hours.
13. Ensure that the captain is kept informed of all guest remarks and complaints.
14. Participate in communication meetings, instructions, and training sessions as required by the restaurant manager, training supervisor, and food and beverage supervisor.
15. Keep uniform neat and tidy and ensure good personal grooming and hygiene in accordance with the standards of Emirates Royal Residence.
16. Any other responsibilities as assigned by your Manager or Supervisor.

Skills and Requirements:

1. At least 2 to 3 years experience in catering.
2. Fluent in English.
