The Senior Software Engineer - Oracle ERP is a fully participating member of an agile feature team, working independently on software development and problem resolution. The role involves technical design, software development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions/products supporting the Emirates Group Business.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be To

• Collaborate with senior technical engineers in the technical design process by analyzing application requirements.
• Translate technical solutions for small to medium initiatives into detailed design and code.
• Write secure, optimized code following Emirates Group standards.
• Participate in rotational on-call support, resolving production issues within SLAs with minimal supervision.
• Ensure quality by implementing comprehensive unit testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify and fix defects with minimal rework.
• Practice code refactoring to minimize technical debt.
• Implement logging and monitoring in the code.
• Stay updated with relevant technologies and apply learnings to improve code quality.
• Adhere to and contribute to Emirates Group IT coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in:
• Full implementation, upgrade, and support of Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) and related development/enhancement.
• Oracle application framework (OAF) expertise.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle workflows, and XML Publisher.
• Experience with Oracle Access Manager and Java/JavaScript.
• Exposure to exposing RESTful APIs via an integrated SOA gateway.
• Strong functional experience in at least one of the following EBS modules: Human Capital Management (HCM), Oracle Financials, or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
