Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer - HVAC (Construction and Fit-out)to lead design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems for construction and fit-out projects, especially villas, retail outlets, and F&B spaces across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC heat load calculations and estimations for villa and fit-out projects
• Prepare BOQs and estimation documents
• Handle supplier inquiries, selections, and procurement coordination
• Independently manage HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance
• Design shop drawings using AutoCAD and HAP, adhering to local authority standards (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, etc.)
• Plan and supervise ductwork (G.I, P.I, fire-rated), pipework, and control panel placements
• Oversee installation of DX, VRF, Split, Package, Chilled Water systems
• Conduct site surveys, quality checks, and commissioning of HVAC systems
• Maintain HVAC components, troubleshoot issues, and support energy-saving initiatives
• Coordinate HVAC systems with architectural and structural design
• Provide client consultations and HVAC solutions tailored to their needs
• Prepare detailed documentation, project reports, and QA/QC reports
• Manage CFM ticketing systems (Helpdesk, Jira) and complete maintenance tasks under SLA
• Lead HVAC and MEP maintenance across malls, kiosks, villas, and G+4 buildings
• Handle swimming pool, water fountain system maintenance, filters, and pump care
• Support basic electrical, plumbing, and firefighting system maintenance
• Supervise maintenance teams for retail & F&B operations in UAE malls

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (4-year graduate)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in similar role, preferably with background in Retail and Fit Out & construction & contracting, HVAC - MEP industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, HAP, and project documentation tools
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and approvals (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems (DX, VRF, Split, Package, Chilled Water)
• Excellent site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems for villas, malls, and commercial spaces
• UAE Driving License
