Responsibilities

1. Provide pre and post-contract commercial support.
2. Manage bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs.
3. Review interim valuations and payment certificates.
4. Manage change processes.
5. Review variations and prepare recommendations.
6. Prepare and review estimates.
7. Assist in risk, value management, and cost control functions.
8. Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
9. Assist in preparing progress and cost reports.
10. Report to the Project Director on all commercial issues.
11. Understand health and safety regulations' implications.
12. Attend and represent the company at commercial meetings.

Experiences and Qualifications

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
2. Relevant experience in pre and post-contract, commercial processes, strong administrative and QA/QC review skills, managing change control processes, client-facing experience, and knowledge of the local market is preferable.
3. Minimum 15+ years in relevant contract and commercial management roles, with change management experience.
4. MRICS qualification is mandatory.
5. Experience managing teams and client interactions.
6. Experience in measurement and quantification of building and infrastructure works.
7. Cost estimating experience for building and infrastructure projects.
8. Previous experience with FIDIC contracts is required.
9. Broad project experience, including Hospitality, Residential, Leisure, and Infrastructure sectors.
10. Minimum 3 years of experience as a consultant and/or client in the Middle East.
11. Should be based in KSA.
12. Knowledge of QS software such as Cost-X or similar is preferable.
13. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
14. Proven English language technical writing skills and a solid project background.
