We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Operations Manager with a strong personality to oversee and manage all marine operations for our ship agency in the UAE and internationally. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marine operations, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the maritime field.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of marine operations, including vessel scheduling, port operations, and cargo handling.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and standards.
3. Lead the team to monitor all inbound service inquiries/orders from shipowners/charterers and respond in a timely manner.
4. Monitor vessel schedules and work towards smooth operations.
5. Coordinate with port authorities, shipping companies, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient operations.
6. Develop and implement strategies to optimize marine operations, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marine Operations, Maritime Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in a marine operations managerial role, with a minimum of 10 years in management.
3. Knowledge of ship agency, customs, logistics, and maritime regulations.
4. Familiarity with the shipping business, in-depth knowledge of ship agency processes, and skills in summarizing and documenting functional requirements and process improvements.
5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach.
8. Analytical mindset to identify operational inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
