Minimum Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Take all necessary precautions to protect vehicles during climate changes.
- Responsible for the safe transportation of NDT equipment and personnel to various job sites.
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of sensitive NDT equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to local traffic laws and Sievert safety policies.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, especially when working with radiographic materials and hazardous substances.
- Log vehicle and equipment usage, maintenance needs, and technical issues encountered.
- Be familiar with the safe handling of NDT equipment and hazardous materials.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, based on project requirements.
- Travel to various job sites, including remote or hazardous locations.
- Be reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to vehicle problem-solving.
- Ensure QHSE compliance as set by Sievert for safe driving.
- Assist RT/Multi Technicians in carrying out NDT activities.
- Assist in lifting, transporting, and shifting radiography projectors at job locations.
- Assist in barricading areas as instructed by the RT team and monitor barricaded zones.
- Maintain equipment and accessories through regular cleaning and ensure safety after activity completion.
- Be a quick learner to perform RT, MT, PT, HT, PMI, and Ferrite testing upon receiving equipment familiarization training and procedural/code requirements.
Skills Set:
Knowledge of NDT techniques.
