Job description

• Greet customers, offer assistance, and serve them to ensure their needs and complaints are addressed promptly, adhering to quality and customer service standards to foster customer loyalty and grow the portfolio.

• Ensure a smooth and efficient receiving process for items/shipments and monitor all inventory activities such as cycle counts, stock movements, transfers between shops, warehouse transfers, damaged items, and devolution.

• Analyze sales performance (hourly/daily/weekly), monitor selling items, missing sizes/items, and collection rotation (in coordination with BM and VM) to identify replenishment needs, place accurate orders, meet stock performance objectives, and maximize sales and sellout.

• Detect, anticipate, and provide regular feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitors' activities affecting the region/market.

• Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate team members to ensure they possess the necessary skills, maintain the required image, and are enabled to maximize their potential and contribution. Conduct daily meetings to keep staff informed and engaged.

• Prepare staff schedules based on budgeted hours, visitor traffic, daily sales targets, events, and operational needs (including shipments, stock counts, sales). Communicate sales plans and set daily and hourly targets to the team.

• Log and update all commercial and operational information, as well as various requests, on the designated platforms (Helpdesks, Events, Loss Prevention, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner.

• Manage the annual budget by monitoring expenditures, optimizing costs, and reporting variances versus the budget (validating with DM/BM).

• Oversee the shop's image, ensuring compliance with brand standards. Verify and follow up on cleanliness, display, and maintenance of the shop, including windows, cash areas, and stock rooms.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree.

• Experience: At least 3 years in a managerial role; retail experience is a major plus.

• Language: Fluency in English.

• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.

• Specific Skills for Sports Goods Retail: Collective game, project-oriented, athlete/ambassador, enthusiastic, contributor, empathic, entrepreneurial, responsible.

• Additional Requirement: Active participation in at least one sporting activity and expert knowledge of sporting events.
