Our focus is on obsessively choosing quality fabrics and updating our designs based on community feedback. Our simple concept involves 12 capsules, 12 stories, and one versatile wardrobe that works for you time and time again.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer, located in Dubai. The Buyer will be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality fabrics and materials, managing supplier relationships, and analyzing market trends to make informed buying decisions. Daily tasks include evaluating product quality, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the design team to ensure product alignment with the brand's aesthetic and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure stock levels are in line with sales forecasts and market demand across all stores and channels.
  • Maintain and monitor stock cover targets to prevent both overstocking and stockouts, optimizing inventory turnover.
  • Develop and manage the Open-to-Buy (OTB) budget based on historical data, seasonal trends, and sales forecasts.
  • Ensure smart stock investment decisions by analyzing category and subcategory performance.
  • Lead the full buying process from planning to selection based on insights from category performance, trend analysis, and sales seasonality.
  • Conduct pre-buying and post-buying reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment and business readiness.
  • Oversee product allocation strategies to ensure timely and optimal distribution to stores based on performance, trends, and capacity.
  • Collaborate with stores and visual merchandising teams to support strategic product placement and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Monitor retail pricing strategies and margin performance, ensuring effective sell-through and profitability.
  • Manage reorders for fast-moving items and implement efficient liquidation plans for slow-moving inventory.
  • Conduct regular category performance reviews and adjust the buying and merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Build assortments for new store launches, ensuring an effective product mix to drive immediate sales impact.
  • Monitor store capacities and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained in alignment with available space and sales targets.
  • Liaise cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and warehouse teams to align on promotions, inventory flow, and business needs.
  • Leverage historical sales and market trends to forecast future demand and inform buying decisions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Buyer role within retail (fashion or lifestyle preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in OTB planning, inventory management, and category analysis
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Knowledge of retail systems, forecasting tools, and Excel
