Job Description
- Identify and Develop Business Opportunities: Proactively explore new business avenues, partnerships, and markets to drive revenue growth and overall business expansion.
- Customer Acquisition and Retention: Formulate and implement effective plans to attract new customers through direct sales efforts, cold calling, networking, and B2B marketing activities. Ensure the development and nurturing of long-term customer relationships.
- Market Expansion Strategies: Design and execute sales strategies aimed at entering new geographical markets and reaching untapped customer segments through various distribution channels.
- Sales Forecasting and Target Planning: Develop actionable sales plans and targets; track performance against KPIs to ensure revenue objectives are met or exceeded.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and expand a loyal customer base through consistent engagement, timely support, and resolution of sales or service-related complaints.
- Profitability and Product Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data to determine product/service profitability, adjust strategies accordingly, and identify high-performing offerings.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with the supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products as per customer requirements.
- Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor strategies to inform proactive business decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and deliver periodic reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and budget planning to senior management for strategic planning.
- Brand and Product Promotion: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and roadshows to enhance brand visibility and promote product offerings.
- Sales Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals; conduct regular training and performance evaluations.
- CRM and Technology Utilization: Utilize CRM tools and sales automation systems to manage leads, track customer interactions, and improve sales efficiency.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish strategic alliances with industry partners, distributors, and key stakeholders to enhance market reach and drive growth.
