Insurance Specialist, General Insurance - Motor

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our team, focusing on general insurance solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle enquiries & quotations for General Insurance policies, focusing on motor policies for SMEs.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters to ensure optimal service delivery and compliance.
3. Manage Motor fleet insurance endorsements, including additions, deletions, and certificates of insurance.
4. Identify and analyze clients' insurance needs using CRM systems and recommend suitable coverage options.
5. Generate quotations through insurer portals, tools, or direct insurer communication.
6. Negotiate policy terms and pricing with insurance companies/underwriters on behalf of clients.
7. Prepare proposals, presentations, and materials for clients and prospects regarding renewals and new business opportunities.
8. Manage the renewal process for assigned clients, including proposal preparation and coordination with insurers.
9. Maintain accurate trackers on placement data.
10. Process policy placements, verify documents received from clients, and submit placements to insurers.
11. Review and process initial invoice bookings, ensure KYC compliance, and verify coverage details, policy limits, and premiums before sharing policy documents.
12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of proven experience in handling General Insurance - Motor.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
3. Knowledge of general insurance products, trends, and best practices in the UAE.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
5. Strong time management and attention to detail.
