Application Support Specialist (Level 2)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in IT support or related roles.

Certificates: CompTIA A+ or similar is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, application, and network issues.
  • Strong understanding of macOS, Apple hardware, software installation, and basic networking.
  • Experience with Apple's remote management tools (e.g., Jamf Pro).
  • 2+ years experience with SQL for writing and debugging queries.
  • 2+ years experience with .NET Core for backend development and troubleshooting.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality support services.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, network, and application systems.
  2. Utilize .NET Core skills to debug and improve backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  3. Employ SQL queries to create reports, identify trends, and troubleshoot issues.
  4. Manage and resolve escalated incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  5. Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
  6. Contribute to and maintain the knowledge base, documenting solutions and best practices.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system issues, implement updates, and improve system performance.
  8. Provide excellent customer service, communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
