Job description

Summary:

To ensure vehicles are planned in the most cost-effective way, considering truck ban timings and other legislation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor the movement of bond containers from and to Khorfakkan to make sure all operational parameters are met.
• Check vessel arrivals and coordinate pending balances to ensure efficient operations are achieved.
• Liaise with shipping lines and consignees to ensure all transport requests are undertaken within the specified timeframe.
• Check, distribute, action, and follow up emails sent to the shared mailboxes.
• Provide transport rates for new and walk-in customers.
• Liaise with the parent company's accounts to ensure outstanding invoices and credit notes are distributed and resolved swiftly.
• Arrange vehicles and the subsequent paperwork required for annual re-registration.
• Ensure all vehicles are re-registered when required.
• Liaise with the parent company to ensure all insurance formalities are completed.
• Maintain controlled documents required by management.
• Prepare E-Tokens for Jebel Ali traffic.
• Cover the duties and responsibilities of planners, trainee planners and administrators during sick, emergency and annual leave.

Related Work Experience

Minimum of 3 Years in the UAE.
