This role is responsible for ensuring peak performance, availability, and safety of all machinery and equipment by planning and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.Job Responsibilities:Maintenance Planning and ExecutionDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all equipment, including hydraulic presses, CNC cutting machines, welding systems, and mechanical conveyors.Ensure prompt corrective actions for breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.Maintain equipment logs and maintenance records in compliance with ISO and safety standards.Technical Expertise & TroubleshootingDiagnose and repair faults in hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and cylinders.Inspect and repair electrical wiring, control panels, motors, PLC systems, and transformers.Supervise maintenance of MIG, TIG, arc welding machines, and gas-cutting equipment.Oversee mechanical repairs of gearboxes, chains, rollers, compressors, and fabrication equipment.Team Leadership & SupervisionLead and train the maintenance team, including electricians, mechanics, and fitters.Allocate daily work assignments and ensure task completion within defined timelines.Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.Inventory & Vendor CoordinationMonitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement in advance.Liaise with external service providers and vendors for specialized repairs and machine calibration.Compliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to statutory safety norms, including DEWA, Civil Defense, and labor inspections.Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports to senior management.Job Requirements:Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.Minimum 7 10 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing industry.Proven expertise in hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, welding equipment maintenance, and mechanical repair.Familiarity with CNC and PLC-based machinery is a plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Leadership and team coordination skills.Proficiency in reading technical drawings and manuals.Good understanding of safety practices and UAE labor regulations.Ability to work under pressure and during non-working hours when needed.
