Position Summary

E-Trading Support Associate.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Implementation and maintenance of direct market access for clients, including setup of trading systems via ISV administration systems or routing file configurations. ISV license ordering.
  • Identification and resolution of market and open order issues, including exchange liaison for internal comparisons.
  • Resolution of queries related to market access, including reporting and investigating exchange or trading system outages.
  • Liaison with IT and clients regarding market access, including reporting and issue escalation.
  • Distribution of firm and exchange notifications, holiday schedules, and general notifications via email. Providing 1st line support for related queries.
  • Implementation of trading and margin limits in trading system ISVs to ensure clients have adequate risk controls as per their requirements.
  • Monitoring and early warning of physically deliverable positions daily, advising Back Office and clients of positions at risk of delivery, and informing clients of upcoming expiries.
  • Initiation, implementation, and coordination with IT for exchange and trading system software upgrades and patches.
  • Monitoring and reporting of market data usage and exchange messaging ratios to identify issues.
  • Registration and deregistration of traders and traders' key with exchanges, including exam/course registration where necessary.
  • Development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures, updating as needed.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Educated to Degree standard, preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience in Electronic Trading Services or exposure to Derivatives Exchange Trading GUIs or professional trading platforms.

Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and familiarity with trading applications like TT, Stellar, CQG, Fidessa, Bloomberg, WebICE, CME Direct, etc.

Organisational Ability

Effective workload management, motivation, punctuality, and ability to work under deadlines and high-pressure situations.
