Job Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage multiple insurance products.
- Meet with customers to close deals and drive new FER business.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales.
- Manage attrition and retain existing customers.
- Ensure high customer experience by managing turnaround time (TAT).
- Achieve monthly insurance FER (personal banking) and individual targets annually.
- Develop and strengthen insurance acquisition through effective relationship management aligned with business goals.
- Coach direct sales staff to pitch OTC products and support them in upselling life products.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing personal banking customers through professional financial analysis.
- Provide superior customer service to enhance the overall customer experience at Mashreq Bank.
- Retain customers through active engagement to prevent clawbacks.
- Own customer complaints related to insurance; coordinate with relevant teams and providers for resolution.
- Offer feedback for improving insurance products, services, and processes to reduce cycle time, costs, and enhance satisfaction.
- Increase penetration in assigned target companies by meeting Key Performance Area (KPA) standards.
- Act as an external contact point between the bank and its markets.
- Handle objections effectively to encourage purchase.
- Provide accurate cost calculations and quotations to customers.
- Record all sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and update CRM systems.
- Participate in team activities such as morning huddles, training, coaching, and compliance.
- Possess thorough knowledge of products, services, policies, and processes in retail banking at Mashreq Bank.
- Postgraduate degree, preferably an MBA, with strong numeric skills and 1-2 years of insurance sales experience.
- Understand customer financials.
- Possess a sales mindset with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
