Job description

Job Purpose

Manage the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Nawah, ENEC, and BOC’s Performance Management Framework (excluding C Level), focusing on Corporate Performance and Station 1 & 2 Performance. Oversee all Nawah corporate performance activities and foster a Performance Management culture across Nawah.

Key Activities, Responsibilities & Accountability

Performance Management Framework

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Review the performance of the Performance Management framework (efficiency and effectiveness) and support the development of recommendations for improvements in short, medium, and long-term plans.
  • Lead efforts with staff to ensure consistency and accuracy in performance measurement.
  • Establish and maintain governance of the performance management system within ENEC, Nawah, and BOC (excluding C Level):
    • Create processes and procedures governing KPIs.
    • Develop and maintain KPI profile sheets for operational and corporate KPIs.
    • Collaborate with NPI to keep operational KPIs updated and aligned with procedures and templates.
    • Share performance-related results with stakeholders including SPME, ADQ, and the BoD.
  • Update Nawah Objectives KPIs and targets annually in coordination with Objective Owners/Sponsors and the Nawah Executive Team.
  • Monitor progress of Nawah Objectives KPIs and report quarterly during NET Performance Review meetings.
  • Track and report on Nawah Initiatives and priorities, defining measurable milestones and maintaining records.
  • Implement frameworks, processes, and tools for performance monitoring, reporting, and analysis to ensure effective tracking of business objectives.
  • Manage change controls and processes to keep dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs current and governed.
  • Periodically review and revise ENEC, Nawah, and BOC Performance Management procedures and related documents.

Reporting Performance

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Consolidate Nawah Board material quarterly and prepare reports for Nuclear Plant Performance Meetings.
  • Maintain and review Nawah CEO Dashboard, yearly priorities, Objectives KPIs, and WANO KPIs.
  • Align and monitor performance scorecards within Nawah Executive Team.
  • Facilitate quarterly NET Performance Review meetings.
  • Follow up on corrective actions for underperforming KPIs.
  • Conduct pre-job briefs, communications, and presentations with C-Level executives.
  • Report strategic KPIs to ENEC SPME / ADQ monthly and handle ad-hoc requests.
  • Manage Nawah Monthly Report, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain reporting systems aligned with organizational changes.

Plant Performance Review

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and report VP- and Director-Level Scorecards at Station 1 & 2.
  • Review monthly performance of Station 1 & 2 and report during quarterly Business Review meetings.
  • Create KPI Profile Sheets for all operational KPIs.

People Management

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Support the development of UAE National employees in line with corporate objectives and Emiratization strategy.
  • Promote knowledge sharing to enhance internal capabilities of UAE Nationals and maximize their performance.

Excellence and Quality Management

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through waste elimination, adherence to procedures, innovation, problem solving, and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System policies and procedures, and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Uphold Nawah Fundamentals.

Professional Certifications & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Engineering Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience: 6 to 7 years of relevant experience.
