Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Site/Project Engineer to oversee and manage interior fit-out and small-scale building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site activities, coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring project timelines, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Site Supervision:

• Supervise site activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Conduct daily site inspections and monitor progress against the work schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Verify and ensure correct implementation of approved materials and finishes.

Technical Coordination:

• Interpret construction and interior fit-out drawings and provide technical guidance.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients for site-related decisions and approvals.
• Assist in the preparation and review of shop drawings and method statements.

Planning & Documentation:

• Assist in preparing project schedules, resource plans, and material submittals.
• Maintain site records including daily work reports, inspection logs, and material receipts.
• Ensure documentation of variations, site instructions, and progress photographs.

Quality & Safety:

• Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with relevant quality standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality checks and issue snag lists and rectification reports.
• Report any incidents or safety violations and take preventive/corrective actions.

Cost & Procurement Coordination:

• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials and site requirements.
• Monitor usage of materials and prevent wastage or damage.
• Support the estimation and quantity surveying team with site measurements and BOQ validations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out and/or building construction projects (UAE experience preferred).

• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and Trakhees regulations is a plus.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling software.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Time management and organizational skills.
